I live with degenerative disc disease (DDD) and chronic inflammation. This blog is my personal space to document what daily life is like, what I’m learning, and the changes I’m making to better manage my condition.

This is not medical advice — just my real-life experience.

Living with DDD affects more than just back pain. It can impact how you move, work, rest, and even how you plan your day.

Some days are manageable, while others come with stiffness, discomfort, and fatigue. It’s unpredictable, which is one of the hardest parts.

WHAT I’M FOCUSING ON

Right now, I’m focusing on small, consistent lifestyle changes that may help support my body over time.

This includes:

  • Paying attention to inflammation in the body
  • Improving daily movement and mobility
  • Working on weight loss gradually
  • Building better daily habits

Nothing extreme — just small steps I can maintain long term.

THIS IS A LONG JOURNEY

I’ve learned that managing DDD isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about consistency over time.

Some days will be better than others, but the goal is long-term improvement in how I feel and function.

I’m documenting everything along the way so others going through similar challenges can relate and follow the journey.
